Stay-Put Hide Paste™

Stay Put Hide Paste ™ is an aqueous polymeric formulation that has been tested by several leading Taxidermy manufacturers and proven to be a superior hide paste to any currently available on the market. Stay- Put Hide Paste™ has the characteristics of a dextrin paste which allows long working time and the adhesion characteristics of an epoxy and dries clear. It will adhere wet leather to urethane foam manikins and many different types of plastics. It is of medium-to-heavy consistency, and completely environmentally/user safe. It contains no dextrin. In addition to being a hide paste, it is versatile enough to be used for creating water scenery, nose pad detail, “plumping up” bird feet, creating wrinkle detail and adhering rocks, soil and plants in dioramas.

Use Instructions

1.) Clean surface of the manikin of all release agents, oil, and grease.

2.) Lightly sand with a wire brush or medium sandpaper, pay particular attention to all recessed areas.

3.) Apply a generous layer of Stay- Put Hide Paste™ (1/8") on the form/manikin and position the animal hide into position.

4.) Clean-up the residue while wet with soap and water.

5.) Stay Put Hide Paste™ contains no dextrin however anti microbial agents are added so mold or fungal growth will not occur. However, it is a good practice not to return any unused paste to the container and use only what is needed.

6.) Tightly reseal the hide paste pail for storage. Store in a cool, dry area.

7.) Stay-Put Hide Paste ™ also has unsurpassed adhesion to oily African skins.

8.) Apply with a gloved hand or with a disposable brush

IMPORTANT:
STORE ALL STAY-PUT PRODUCTS IN COOL, DRY PLACE WITH MINIMUM TEMPERATURE FLUCTUATIONS OR IN THE REFRIGERATOR @45 DEGREES FARENHEIT.
